An 80th Birthday Bash!
My wife's grandmother, "Grandjan," had her 80th birthday in late July and since the entire family was going to be together for a trip to the beach in August they decided it would be a perfect time to throw her a party. I'm pretty sure this was the best 80th birthday party ever. 200+ people came to celebrate Grandjan's 80 years. Over the years she was a teacher, a coach to the national champions for a HS academic team, a philanthropist in the community, an active member in her church, a book club attendee, a bridge club host, a caring friend, and the list could go on and on. It's not a wonder that so many people came to celebrate! It was a fun time with the family and I enjoyed photographing the event.

An Enchanted Evening
Last Thursday I had the honor of photographing An Enchanted Evening, Bridal Client Appreciation party for Unforgettable Fine Jewelry on Devine Street. They definitely know how to throw an event! They had great food, decorations, a prom back drop for fun pictures and even a crown making station. A great time was had by all. If you are need of fine jewelry, this is definitely the place to go. Here are some of the pictures from the evening.

Red Carpet Affair 2011
A few weeks ago I was honored to photograph the second annual Red Carpet Affair sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. These kids have been through so much and this gives them a night to take their minds off everything else and just have fun.

Then I got a picture of everyone individually and the society will print the pictures and send them to each child. Here are just a few of the kids:

After pictures, the kids danced the night away!

All of the kids were announced and they got to walk the Red Carpet.
